December 2, 2008 Margaret &quot;Peggy&quot; Theresa Wheeler, 72, passed away December 2, 2008, at James Square Health and Rehab. Center. She was born December 29, 1936, the last of five children of William F. and Clara Walsh of Somerville, MA. She graduated in 1954 from St. Joseph's High School in Somerville. She worked for Prudential Insurance until she married David K. Wheeler, who at the time was in the Air Force and stationed nearby. She accompanied her husband to numerous assignments until his military retirement in 1975. She was a mother and housewife during her husband's military service, after which they settled in Watertown, NY, living there until moving to Baldwinsville in 2001. She worked for Household Merit Furniture store in Watertown, 1982 to 1994. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Watertown and St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville. She is survived by a sister, Eleanor Wagner of Pearland, TX; a brother, John Walsh of Medford, MA; her husband and three children, Paula Meilinger of Macungie, PA, Andrea Kahn of San Jose, CA, and Kenneth Wheeler of Kennesaw, GA; and seven grandchildren. A sister, Ruth Walsh; a brother, William F. Walsh Jr.; and a daughter, Linda Wheeler, predeceased her. A memorial service will be held at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Rte. 31, Baldwinsville, NY, at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009. Her cremains will be interred with her husband's in a veterans cemetery to be determined after her husband's death.
