HOPKINTON Margaret T. Davis, 76, of Hopkinton, died surrounded by family on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at the Milford Regional Medical Center. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Bailey) and Charles Johnson. Margaret was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Church in Hopkinton and had been active with the Hopkinton Senior Center. She was a Hopkinton resident since 1998, and formerly of Cambridge and Lynn. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Kim Lewis and her husband, Duke, of Hopkinton; a brother, Kevin Davis of Woody Creek, Colo., her former husband, Donald Davis of Manakin Sabot, Va.; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Lewis of Shrewsbury, Marcus Lewis of Jacksonville, N.C., Benjamin and Daniel Lewis of Hopkinton, Seth Davis of Aspen Colo., Jackson and Julieanne Davis of Woody Creek Colo., and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son, Gary Davis, and by two sisters, Charlene Bentubo and Marie Hanlon. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Chesmore Funeral Home (www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com), 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 9 a.m., in Saint Johns Church in Hopkinton. Burial will be private.
