HostessHAINES CITY -- Mrs. Margaret Sophia Smith of Haines City died of injuries sustained in an auto accident Monday (Dec. 23, 2002) in Ormond Beach. She was 65.Born in Minerville, Ohio, on Feb. 5, 1937, she came to Haines City from Virginia Beach, Va., in 1984. Mrs. Smith was a hostess for Grenelefe Golf and Tennis Resort. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons, Clettus Greene, Haines City, Gene Greene, Indiana, George Greene, Loughman, Joe Greene, Decatur, Ala.; daughters, Ruth Hill, Haines City, Kem Rowland, Lake Wales; sisters, Ella Peterson, Mary Ruth Powell, both of Haines City, Charlotte Rosenberry, Mississippi; brother, George Stace, Toledo, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Ave., Haines City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
