LEE Margaret Scott Lee, age 96, widow of Gilman Lee, died on Friday evening, July 23, 2004, at Cambridge Manor, Fairfield, with her first cousin, Christine Wright and her family by her side. Born in Scotland, she came to the United States with her parents, the late John and Mary Laurie Scott, through Ellis Island in 1924. She began her secretarial positions at several local companies including Raybestos, Dresser Industries and American Chain and Cable. She was a proud member of the Olivet Congregational Church in Bridgeport, and was a member since 1924. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Azalia Chapter. Survivors, in addition to her cousin, Christine, are a sister-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews in the United States, Scotland, New Zealand and Australia. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at 2 p.m. in the Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2160 Main Street, Bridgeport, with the Rev. Betsy Blomfield officiating. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery.
