JOHNSON, Margaret R. of St. Petersburg, received the ultimate healing from Jesus Our Lord and Savior on April 27, 2013 at Kindred Hospital. She was born Margaret Ruth Brown on Dec. 29, 1926 to Mary and Charles Brown in Corydon, IN. She married Noble M. Johnson on July 13, 1946. She and Noble retired to their beloved La Feria, TX in 1978 where she lived until 2012. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 14 in St. Petersburg and attended First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Noble. Survivors include daughters, Terrie Pickett (Wayne) St. Petersburg, Myra Smith (Gary) Georgetown, IN; and two grandchildren, Kayla Lee (Daniel) New Albany, IN and Gary M. Smith, Charlestown, IN. Contributions may be made in her memory to First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg and Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. A private family memorial will be held at a later date with burial at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park in La Feria, TX. www.andersonmcqueen.com
