ALBANY Margaret R. Curtin, 93, formerly of Oneonta, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in St. Peter's Hospital, Albany. She had been residing in Slingerlands with her daughter for the past three years. She was born in New York City on May 17, 1912, the daughter of Edward and Margaret Sharmann Harrigan. She married William A. Curtin on Sept. 28, 1935 in Brooklyn. He predeceased her as well as one brother. Peg was a 50 year Oneonta resident. Her zest for life was expressed through her many years working as a secretary at the State University College at Oneonta. She is survived by and remembered in the hearts of her daughter, Patricia; and her sister, Elizabeth. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 12 noon in St. Margaret Mary's Church, Homestead St., Albany, followed by entombment in the Most Holy Redeemer Mausoleum. Arrangements are by the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany.
