Margaret P. Talbott, 89, of Westfield, N.J., died Dec. 8, 2011, at the Westfield Center Genesis Health Care facility in Westfield. Visiting will be Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with service at 10:30 at Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J. Born in Elizabeth, N.J., Margaret grew up in Cranford, N.J. She married her husband, William Neal Talbott, in 1959. They lived in Linden, N.J., and Kenilworth, N.J., before settling back in Cranford in 1974. William passed away on May 28, 1995. Margaret left Cranford to live at Sunrise Senior Living of Westfield in 2010. Margaret worked for most of her life as a secretary at Exxon Corporation in Linden, N.J. Surviving are one brother, Richard of Wildwood, Mo.; one sister, Marie McGonegal of Penfield, N.Y.; six nieces and seven nephews.
