FEENEY-Margaret P. (nee Lynott). After 52 years of marriage, Margaret Feeney died peacefully in her husband Jim's arms on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013. Native of Glenmore, Crossmolina, County Mayo, Ireland. Margaret was a devoted mother and mother-in-law to Jimmy & Caroline, John & Liz, and Joanne & Terence Rooney. Loving sister to Vera Murphy, Evelyn Crehan and Seamus Lynott. Sadly, Margaret was predeceased by sisters BridieLynott, Nancy Hoban, and Kathleen Lynott. Devoted grandmother to 10 wonderful children. After living in Middle Village, NY for 46 years, Margaret moved to Fairfield, CT in January 2011. Margaret was a proud member of the Mayo Society for many years. The wake will be held Tuesday Sept. 24, 2013 4-9PM SPEAR MILLER FUNERAL HOME, at 39 South Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824, 203-259-0824, spearmillerfuneralhome.com. Margaret's Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11AM at Our Lady of the Assumption, 545 Stratfield Rd, Fairfield, CT 06825.
