Margaret Moses, 82, of 1625 S. Saluda Road, passed away Thursday morning, May 26, 2005, at her home. Born in Punxsutawney, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Garbor Opina. She was a cloth weaver and worked at both the Brandon and Gayley mills.Surviving her are six daughters, P.J. and Harold Dalton, Bunny Barker, Carol and Joe Whitmire, Susan and Earle Turner, Martha and Scott Hesterman, and Deborah and Ronald Hanks, and three sons, Bobby and Rhonda Moses, Steve and Carol Ann Moses and Bo and Cathy Moses. She will also be missed by 48 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her former husband, S.T. Moses.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. this evening at The Howze Mortuary.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672.The family will be at the home.The Howze Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
