YERG, Margaret (Peggy) Morningstar Age 91, formerly of Pine Valley, NY. She was born July 21, 1916 in Milton, PA, daughter of the late Franklin P. and Ida Mae (Morningstar) Beatty, and passed away Monday, September 24, 2007, at the Gloucester House Assisted Living Center, Gloucester, VA. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Charles (Bud) Yerg in 2003; and brother, John R. Beatty in 1980; and is survived by her brother, Franklin P. Beatty, Jr. of Milton, PA; children, Peggy (John) Brawley of Gloucester, VA, Marty Yerg (Tu Bui) of Arlington, VA, and Kitty (Vince) Scholeno of Frewsburg, NY; grandchildren, Mike Brawley (Lila Dimmett), Jean (Andrew) Speights, Beth (Bob) Goller, Debra (Ken) Daniel, David (Lisa Bartlett) Yerg, Mark (Krista) Scholeno, and Scott (Mindy) Scholeno; 17 great-grandchildren and a nephew. Mrs. Yerg was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Catlin Center and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira, on Monday, October 1st, from 3 to 5 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Rev. Patrick Neyman will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will be held in Harmony Cemetery, Milton, PA, on Tuesday, October 2nd, at Noon. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Peggy through donations to the Full Gospel Church of Catlin Center, 683 Backer Rd., Beaver Dams, NY 14812. Her family would like to thank all those at Gloucester House Assisted Living Center for their friendship and loving care over the past two years and the staff of Riverside Walter Reed Hospice for their invaluable and abundant help during the last two months.
