ALLAND, Margaret Mary Bissen, formerly from La Crosse Wis., passed away January 17, 2010, in Tampa. She was born March 2, 1927, to Mae (Enos) and Ben Bissen. She married William Larry Alland in 1948, and the family moved to Odessa, Fla., in 1971. She was involved in many organizations at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Land O' Lakes, Fla., as well as the St. Petersburg and Pasco Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. She is survived by daughters, Patricia (Alan) Heerey, Kathleen Shay, Eileen (Michael) Gilley; sons, Richard (Pat) Alland and Gregory (Linda) Alland; daughter-in-law, Trish (widow of Christopher) Alland; and two sisters-in-law, Florence Alland and Jeanne Bissen; as well as 26 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Larry Alland; son, Christopher Alland; her parents; two brothers, Peter and Richard; and two sisters, Lucille and Mariece. The family will receive friends 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at the Blount & Curry Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, at our Lady of the Rosary Church, Land O' Lakes. Interment will follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater.
