Margaret Mary Allenof West WindsorMargaret (Peg) Allen, 76, passed away July 21, 2003 unexpectedly, but peacefully at her home of 45 years. Peg was the devoted wife of William Allen for 56 years, and a loving mother to Jean, Jim and John. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mary Cronin; and a brother, Joe Cronin. Peggy was a loving and caring person towards everyone she touched. She is survived by her husband, William Allen; her children, Jean Leppert and her husband North, Jim Allen and his wife Marcy, John Allen and his wife Roberta; her grandchildren, Lisa Leppert, Nicole Leppert-Hill, Amanda Allen, Casey Allen, Jay Allen and Marlaina Allen; her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Leppert-Brown and Braelynn Hill; two sisters, Marjorie Koloski and Dorothy Thayne; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Burkee and her husband Larry; and several nieces and nephews. Peg was a member of St. Mary's Church of Kirkwood since 1958.Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton, followed at 1 p.m. with a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church of Kirkwood. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
