MAIER Margaret Marg Maier, affectionately known as "Shorty" passed away in her sleep on October 12, 2006. She was born September 15, 1915 in Calgary. Throughout her life, she enjoyed the company of her friends and family, whatever the occasion. Over the years, many people benefited from her passion for knitting and still cherish the sweaters, toques and blankets today. Surviving are her son Bill (Shirley), daughter Joanne (Ron); grandchildren, David (Amy), Matthew, Jennifer, Joseph (Leigh), Michael, Jessica; and great-grandson, Liam. Predeceased by her husband Joe and son Don. A private family Service will be held.
