She was born April 24, 1919 in Johnston City, Illinois. Before moving in 1980 to Hollywood Estates in West Melbourne, she lived in Itasca, Illinois. She was the widow of Michael Mack who died in 2010.Betty is survived by her son, Bob Messamore; daughter, Linda Powell; step-son, Mike Mack; 8 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Also a brother, James Hooper; and sister, Vickie Schaefer. A Celebration of her Life will be held August 31st at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Church, 5445 Village Drive, Viera, Florida.
