Margaret M. "Peg" Brown (nee Crosby), a longtime resident of Sparkill, on Friday, November 2, 2001. Beloved wife of Edward J. Devoted mother of Edward and his wife, Kathleen, William, James and his wife, Christine, Stephen and his wife, Christine, Kevin and Moira Ruane and her husband, James. Loving grandmother of Allison, Edward, Christina, Christin, Daniel, Thomas, Caitlin and Colleen. Predeceased by a foster son, Terrance Pacheco. Dear sister of Jane Serencsics and her husband, Joseph. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brown was past president of the Altar Rosary Society and past president of the Home School Association, both at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan. She was also past chairwomen of the Orangetown Democratic Party. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Tappan, on Tuesday at 10:00 am. Interment Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill. Visiting hours Sunday 7-9 pm and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ (845-359-2323).
