Margaret was born on May 27, 1920, to Katie Ann Hoke Bliss and Sylvester Orlando Bliss. Margaret married James Merrill Brown on March 14, 1941, in Philipsburg, Ohio. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on March 14, of this year. Margaret and Jim had three boys, Karl Edwin Brown (deceased, Karen), Greenville, Ohio; Denny Lee Brown (Linda) Ft. Myers, FL. and Gary (Susan) Union City, TN. They also had one daughter, Linda K. Stroh (Greg), Lake Forest, IL. They also have nine (9) grandchildren and four (4) great grandchildren. Margaret is survived by two sisters, Mary Bohlander (Dayton, Ohio) and Joyce Mayo (Windermere, FL). Margaret worked for Seiberling Latex Corporation in New Bremen, Ohio, and after moving to Florida, she worked in the bakery department for Publix Supermarkets where she retired after several years of employment. At her retirement party, she had nearly as many customers who also became friends as she had co-workers and family. Margaret's life has always centered around her children and there was absolutely nothing she wouldn't do for them. Margaret picked up the game of golf in St. Marys, Ohio, and really developed a taste for golf after moving to Florida. She played four times a week until a stroke cut short her golfing days. She has several golf trophies including a hole in one and most improved golfer.
