Margaret Louise WeeksOKEECHOBEE - Margaret Louise Weeks, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, in the Hamrick Home. Born May 26, 1934, to H.C. and Essie Mae Waldron in Okeechobee, she had been a lifetime resident and a member of the Okeechobee Church of God. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jacob Guilford Weeks of Okeechobee; son, Larry Steve Weeks Sr. (Patricia) of Okeechobee; daughters, Patricia Smith (Dennis) and Dale Ann Watford (Jimbo), both of Okeechobee; brothers, Edward Waldron (Margie) of North Carolina, Lawrence Waldron (Cobby) of Okeechobee; sister, Janet Mays of Okeechobee; brother-in-law, Stanley Harden of Okeechobee; and lifelong friend, Willie Mae Scott. In addition she is survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and many hundreds of children from the Okeechobee Church of God Children's Church. A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Buxton Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Okeechobee Church of God Children's Ministries or the Hospice of Okeechobee. Condolences can be made at www.buxtonfuneralhome.com.
