Margaret Leary Miller 1933 - 2009 Margaret "Margie" Leary Miller, 75, of Sarasota, Fla., and formerly of Penfield, died Jan. 27, 2009. A memorial Mass will be held August 7 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. Margie was born Aug. 26, 1933 in Ithaca N.Y., where she met and married Jack, her loving husband of 54 years. Margie taught first grade for 15 years in Penfield. She was very active in the community and, in retirement, spent much of her time and energy at either Sarasota Memorial Hospital as a volunteer or actively supporting the St. Thomas More community. Margie also enjoyed sending lots of cards to friends who were under the weather. Margie leaves behind her devoted husband, Jack; three children, Margie (Bill) Greer of Canandaigua, Jack (Linda) Miller of San Diego, Calif. and Bob (Emily) Miller of Aurora, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Margie will be missed forever by her family and for her generous, loving nature and infectious smile.
