HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mrs. Margaret R. Lawson went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Margaret faithfully attended and was a member of His Community Church where she served in numerous capacities. She worked at Gracewood State and School Hospital and retired after numerous years. Margaret leaves to cherish fond loving memories with her devoted and faithful husband, Thomas Sr.; son, Thomas (Temestrice) Lawson Jr.; daughter, Sheila E. Lawson; granddaughters, Demetria, D'Vasha, and Kayla Lawson; brothers, John (Joyce) Royal, Jason (Emma) Royal, Samuel (Teresa) Royal, and Larry (Elaine) Chance; sisters, Annie W. Speed, Carrie Bell (Terry) Thezine, Lucille Speed, Wilhemina Hines, Rosa (Willie) Bryant and Willie Mae Brother; mother-in-law, Freddie Mae Lawson; brothers-in-law; Jerry Lawson and Stoney (Carolyn) Lawson; sisters-in-law, Patricia Lawson and Polly (Stevie) Buggs, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00am, Saturday, November 17, 2012, His Community Church , 3358 Peach Orchard Road, with Pastor Steve Norsworthy, officiating. Interment will follow in Bottsford Baptist Church Cemetery, Waynesboro, Ga. The family will recieve friends this evening (Friday) from 6 to 7:30pm at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. (706) 790-8858
