Margaret Lee, née en 1915, conjointe de John Lee, fille de J. D et Matilda, mère de Rachelle, Alison, Jocelyn, Kathy, Launel, Marilyn, Barbara, Russell, Drake, Emelie, Shamus, Katelyn, Nigen, Bill, Ava, Michael, Mary, Anthony, Jolene, John et Jane, est décédée le 15 janvier 2006 à l'âge de 91 ans. LEE-Margaret (Spelliscy) Lee, late of Cedarwood Manor Regina, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2006 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband John Lee in 1966, infant son John James in 1949 and daughter Jane Pinnow in 2000, Margaret was also predeceased by her parents J.D. and Matilda (Gould) Spelliscy, and all her siblings Martin, Josie, Harry, Kathryn, Bill and Arnold. Margaret is survived by her loving family: Margaret (John) Lipp and children John (Shi Ying), Jolene, Anthony; Mary (Patrick) Campbell and son Michael and his daughter Ava; Bill (Bernice) and their children Nigen, Katelyn, and Shamus; son-in-law Glenn Pinnow and children Rachelle (Matt Hassall), Alison, and Jocelyn; Kathy (Dennis) DeWitt and children Launel, Marilyn, Barbara and Russell Schneider (Shae-Lynn) and their children Drake and Emelie. Margaret was born and raised in Strasbourg, and graduated as a nurse from the Regina Grey Nuns Hospital in 1937. She nursed in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Ontario before marrying John Lee in 1943 and settling into family and business life in Estevan. Margaret and John owned and operated the Estevan Funeral Home before moving their business and family to Regina to open the Lee Funeral Home in 1961. A long time member of Sacred Heart parish, Margaret was active in the Quota Club and the Dewdney Avenue neighbourhood until her retirement from the funeral business in 1974. Margaret was fortunate to enjoy many years of retirement at Regina Beach and Mesa Arizona. She was blessed by a large extended family and wonderful life-long friends including her special friend Isabelle Joyce. She lived a full and rewarding life and died in dignity. May she rest in peace. Prayers of Remembrance will be held at the Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 17th at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 1701 Cowan Crescent, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18th. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina.
