LEE _ Margaret Marion, born January 16, 1915 to Nicola Valley pioneers Andy and Hazel Anderson, died peacefully February 6, 2003. Predeceased by W.R. (Dick) Lee, her husband of 47 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family of Lees and Andersons. As a telephone operator she provided dedicated service to B.C. Tel and was always willing to assist co-workers by covering their shifts. She was proud to add her voice to the B.C. Tel choir as one of the longest serving members. She was a lifetime member of the B.C. Tel pioneers and a tireless worker for her church. The family offers a heartfelt thank you to her Doctors, members of St. Columba Presbyterian Church, her wonderful neighbours and friends for the loving care which enabled her to stay in her own home. Graveside service on Monday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver, B.C. Remembrance service to follow at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, 2196 East 44th Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Columba Presbyterian Church or the B.C. Children's Hospital.
