MARGARET L. HARRIS, 72 Medical Administrative Clerk LAKELAND - Margaret L. Harris, age 72, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2007 from cancer. Margaret was born January 20, 1935 in Lakeland, Florida and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and Kathleen Amaranth Court #46. She was a kindergarten teacher and sang in the choir at Gibsonia Baptist Church for many years. Throughout her life she worked with children in Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, GA's and RA's. She is survived by her husband: Marvin R. Harris of Lakeland; sons: Paul Harris, Victor Harris, and Lawrence D. Harris all of Lakeland; daughters: Janet Davis and Beth Bell both of Lakeland; brothers: Steve Sutton and Kenneth Sutton both of Lakeland; sisters: Catherine Harden and Fay Matthews both of Lakeland; 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday (3/27/07) from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Lanier Funeral Home.
