PLAINFIELD - Margaret Lucy Davis, 81, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at Berlin Health & Rehab Center. She was born Feb. 2, 1931, in Woodbury, the daughter of Alfred A. Richardson and Clara M. (Fair) Richardson. She graduated from Montpelier High School, Class of 1950. She married George Davis on April 7, 1978. Mr. Davis predeceased her on May 24, 1985. She worked for many years as a medical secretary for Dr. Harvey Whiting. Survivors include several cousins. The funeral service will be held at the Old Brick Church (Routes 2 and 14) in East Montpelier Village, at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012. Burial will follow at Plain-Mont Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
