OBITUARY MARGARET KEEFE Sept. 30, 1920 - May 19, 2009 At the Fulford Residence, Montreal, in the tender care of family and staff, Margaret Claire Morris, beloved wife of the late Very Rev. Kenneth Keefe, and sister to Elizabeth Sprinkling and Frances Crozier. A graduate of UBC, Margaret had a life-long interest and passion for enquiry and conversation. A natural teacher, she championed literacy and learning and was engaged in promoting the work of women in the Anglican Church at both a local and national level. Her community commitment was reflected in her presidency of the Women's Canadian Club, London, and the Yamaska Valley Canadian Club. Celebrating her life are her adoring children Peggy (David) Morgan, Ottawa; Barry (Laurie) and John, Kingston; Sally Keefe-Cohen (Heather Lindsay), Toronto and Gillian Keefe (Mark Brenchley) of Montreal. Left with loving memories of an engaged Grandmother are Bryn, Eleri and Robyn Morgan; Jonathan and Ben Keefe; Sara, Michael and David Cohen; Charles, Eric and Joanna Brenchley; Jayne Keefe and great-grandaughter Carys Davies.
