JORDAN, Margaret Weekley, 97, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005. She was the widow of Burwell L. Jordan Jr. She was born in Pensacola, Fla., and lived all of her adult life in Tampa. She was the daughter of Robert Lynn Weekley and Margaret Boyd Miner Weekley. She attended Wesleyan College in Macon, Ga., and graduated from the University of Florida. Mrs. Jordan taught first and third grades in the Hillsborough County School System for many years. She was a member of the Palma Ceia United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Ashby M. Jordan Sr. of Columbia, S.C.; daughters-in- law, Joy Jordan of Birmingham, Ala., and Bonnie McKay Jordan of Tampa; sisters, Mrs. Laura Joy of Rome, Ga., and Mrs. Patricia Roberts of Tampa; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Burwell L. Jordan III and Thomas Robert Jordan. Plans for a graveside memorial service will be announced at a later time.
