JOHNSON-DAY Margaret (nee Lamping), age 92 of Clifton, on Monday May 26, 2008. Born in Brooklyn, NY she lived in Paterson and Clifton before moving to Wayne last year. She was a devoted and active parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle Parish in Clifton and was a member of The Prime Timers there. She was also past president of her local VFW. Margaret is survived by two children; Howard Johnson and his wife Helen of Kingston, NY and Doris Buis and her husband Herman of The Villages, FL, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Howard (1958) her daughter Ruth (2000). Friends may visit with the family at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne, on Thursday May 29 from 2-4, 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at 9 AM on Friday, May 30 from the funeral home then to St. Philip the Apostle Parish in Clifton, where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.
