ANDERSON, HONORABLE MARGARET JEAN Honorable Margaret Jean Anderson of 139 Pleasant Street, Miramichi, NB passed away Monday, December 8, 2003 at Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Burnt Church, NB, August 7, 1915, she was the daughter of the late W. Stafford and Hulda H. (Morrison) Anderson. She was a Business Women and a senior officer with W.S. Anderson Company Ltd. She was a former Canadian Senator, past president of NB Women's Liberal Association, member of Miramichi Historical Society, past president UCW, former member of Newcastle Curling Club, member of Miramichi Golf & Country Club. She took an active interest in local and national affairs. She was a member of St. James & St. John's United Church, Miramichi, NB. She is survived by two sisters; Shirley Wilson - Alexander of Wellington, ON; Frances Mary Sage of Toronto; one brother J. Burns Anderson of Toronto. Many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Honorable Margaret Jean Anderson is resting at Davidson's Funeral Service Ltd., 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi with visitation on Thursday, December 11 from 2-4 and 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 12, 2003 at 2 p.m. from Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ron Feltmate officiating. Burial to follow in Miramichi Cemetery.
