Retired medical records secretary GROVETOWN, Ga. - Entered into rest April 16, 2003, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta, Mrs. Margaret Inez Cox, wife of the late Mr. William Richard Cox. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 20, 2003, at 3 p.m., at Grove Baptist Church, Grovetown, with Rev. Frank Thigpen officiating. Interment in the Churchyard Cemetery. Mrs. Cox will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Mrs. Cox was born in Columbia, S.C., and lived in the local area 62 years. She was a member of Grove Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was an artist and she painted the mural in the Baptistry at the church. Her passion was painting china. Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Cox Watkins, Richmond, Va. and Jean Cox Beverly, Lowesville, Va.; four granddaughters, Joy Beverly Bagby, Noelle Beverly, Wendy Watkins Theriot and Dr. Margaret Watkins Tate; four great-grandchildren, Devin Gray Bagby, Mikaila Skye Bagby, Steven Benjamin Theriot and Emily Anne Theriot; a sister, Alice Jeannette Russ, Columbia and a brother, Jack Edward McClendon, Ocala, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Margie Kent, Tampa, Fla. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, April 19, 2003, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Grove Baptist Church, 108 W.
