ObituaryMargaret 'Rita' Hooper, 83, Bonita Springs, went to be with the Lord & her late husband, Harry, on Thursday, December 11, 2003, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born on Aug. 29, 1920, in Glasgow, Scotland, the daughter of Angus & Mary Scrimgeour. Rita was an active member of the First Assembly of God for over 17 years and was the Captain of the Prayer Chain & Choir. She, and her late husband, lived for the Lord and expressed their love for everyone they ever met. She is survived by her loving sons, Gary (Candice) Hooper, Bonita Springs, and Paul (Carol) Hooper, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; a brother, Andrew Scrimgeour, Queensland, Australia; a sister, Isabel Calder, London, England; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Rita will be greatly missed by both her family and her many friends. Funeral services will be celebrated at the Assembly of God Church, Colonial & Summerlin Rd., Ft. Myers, on Monday, 12/15/03, at 11:00 AM with visitation at the church one hour prior to the services. Entombment will be held at the Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
