->Harrington, MargaretMargaret Harrington, 91, of White Plains, passed away on February 22, 2012. She was born on May 25, 1920 to the late Florence (Smith) & Arthur Salmon in Keighly, Yorkshire(England). On August 15, 1953 Margaret married John W. Harrington in Oswego, NY. Peg was an ever loving caring wife and mother- a gracious lady self effacing with a ready smile and wry sense of humor who always worked quietly and effectively for her community. She loved her home, music, reading and was an accomplished seamstress. She was an office administrator & benefits manager for the Ninth District Dental Society for over 20 years until her retirement in 2007. Peg was also a long time treasurer for the White Plains Historical Society. Survived by her husband John of 58 years, her daughters; Diane Bednasz of Hamburg, NY, Deborah Hamilton of Little Silver, NJ and Pamela Harrington of Somers, NY, her 2 sisters; Dorothy Hansen & Joyce Pusztay- both of Hamburg, NY and her 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren. Services and interment were private.
