Margaret H. (Nice) (Sherburne) Johnson, of Brockton, passed away Aug. 14, 2013. She was 76 years old. Wife of the late David Johnson Sr., she was the loving mother of David, Kenneth, Steven, and Daniel Sherburne, and David Johnson, Bruce Johnson, Karen Higgins, Carol Koutroubas, Cynthia Nunes, and Jennifer Dunlap; sister of Lloyd Nice, and Roger Nice. Margaret is also survived by several beloved grandchildren; as well as her many great-grandchildren. She was grandmother to the late Jason K. Margaret was adored by many. She was "Ma" to quite a few unofficial kids, and Gramsbear to the grandkids and their friends, and was an avid bingo player. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 4-8 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rte. 14), Pembroke. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the First Congregational Church, 639 High St., Hanson, Wednesday, Aug. 21, for a funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment will be at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson.
