SMITH, Margaret Emily. Longtime member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Brampton, and volunteer of Peel Memorial Hospital, Brampton. Peacefully in her sleep at home on Monday, August 20, 2007 in her eighty-seventh year. Beloved wife of the late Adam R.T. Smith. Loving mother of Ron and Linda, Eileen and Michael, Frances and David, Grant and Claudette, Kim and Ken, Andrea and Diana, and by her niece Sandra who was like a daughter to her. Cherished Nanny of Alex, Amanda, Shauna, Justine, Cameron, Garin, and Evan. Margaret will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Anne's Catholic Church (115 Vodden Street East, Brampton). Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
