OBITUARY SISTER MARGARET ELLEN JOHNSON RSCJ 1920-2007 Born in Montreal on March 24, 1920, Sister Johnson died in Barat Residence, 1455 Summer Street, Halifax on December 21, 2007. She was a daughter of the late Edwin John and Margaret Ann (Mason) Johnson. From 1967 - 1994 Sister Johnson was Headmistress of Convent of the Sacred Heart/Sacred Heart School of Montreal. During her long Religious Life as an educator she was deeply loved by Students, Teachers and Alumnae; her influence on all was not to be forgotten and was greatly appreciated. Sister Johnson will be missed by her loving niece Jackie (Jim) Lunn, great-nieces Kelsey, Kristin Lunn and many friends and former students in Montreal. The Mass of the Resurrection will take place in the chapel of Barat Residence on Wednesday, December 26 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sacred Heart School of Montreal, 3635 Atwater Avenue, Montreal, QC, H3H 1Y4. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Sacred Heart School of Montreal at a later date.
