Margaret Elizabeth Jones (née Shipman) 1930-2015 Margaret died peacefully on April 15, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, George Shipman and Ida Publow and her husband, Bob. She leaves two sons David (Lois Carson) and Bruce (Geneviève Proulx) and four grandsons, Dylan, Caleb, Jonathan and Nicolas, all of whom she was extremely proud. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Barbara (Jaime Roberton) and family and Sophie Givernaud. Margaret loved people and had a giving spirit. She never missed an opportunity to spend time with the family and friends she loved and who loved her for her warmth, good humour and kindness. A celebration of her life will be held at St. George's Church, Ste. Anne de Bellevue on Sunday, April 19 at 1 p.m. Margaret's memory can be honoured by donations to either Volunteer West Island or the West Island Palliative Care Residence, organizations to which she dedicated her time, or simply volunteer.
