She was born in Larchmont to Elizabeth and Richard Grube. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother of five and great grandmother of three. She was born in Larchmont July 13, 1923 and lived there most of her life attending Chatsworth Ave. grammar school and was a 1941 graduate of Mamaroneck High school. Margaret was the Village of Larchmont Court Clerk from 1966 to 1986 serving under five judges. She worked during the Second World War as a weapons ordinance inspector for Hoe Co. in the Bronx. She married Thomas Collins of New Rochelle, NY in 1946. She was pre-deceased by him in 1967. She is survived by her sons Thomas (Janet) of Ridge NY and Michael (Dianne) of St James NY, Sisters Beatrice (James) Walsh of New Rochelle and Ruth (Charles) Green of Pelham. Pre-deceased by brothers Richard and Ernest. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting at the John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc. in Larchmont on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Service Saturday morning 10 AM at the funeral Home. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery in New Rochelle.
