CASEY _ Margaret Annie (nee Spalding) April 5, 1915 - March 18, 2003. Predeceased by her husband, Omer George Alexander on May 28th, 1991 and her mother, Annie Jane Spalding in 1993. Our beloved mother died at home surrounded by family. We will miss her deeply and her kindness to all will be remembered. Survived by her brother, George Spalding; her daughters Germaine Ovesen, Gail Hicks, and Linda (Ron) Potter; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was born in Wolseley, Saskatchewan and settled in East Vancouver with her family in 1924 where she grew up, married, and raised her own family in this same neighbourhood. She will be honoured in a private family ceremony.
