Brown, Margaret "Mo" ALBANY Margaret "Mo" Brown, a longtime resident of the Capital District and a 17 year resident of the Villages in Lady Lake, Fla., died on December 15, 2008. Mo was born in Black Mountain, N.C. on September 6, 1934. She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Bane and her brother, Johnny Harrison from Black Mountain. Mo's 74 years were dedicated to supporting and loving her family. Her spirit lives in the grateful and loving eyes of her seven sons and one daughter and the adoring smiles of her 20 grandchildren. Mo was the proud matriarch of the Brown family including her Amazon parrot, Nikki; and her children and grandchildren, Dr. Kelly Brown; Mikal Brown and his daughters, Heather, Meghan, Amber and Jesse; Patrick Brown and his daughters, Sarah, Savannah and Madison; Peter Brown and his sons Jason and Jared; Tim Brown and his daughter Amanda and son Tim; Bobby Brown and his daughters Kalen and Chelsea and his sons Kyle and Connor; Matthew Brown and his sons Geoffrey and Preslee; Nathan and his daughters Courtney, Molly and Emma. A private celebration of Mo's life will be held in Feura Bush, N.Y. and her ashes will be returned to the ocean she loved. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Margaret Brown's name would be appreciated.
