THORPE, Margaret Anne (nee St. John) 1913-2005 - Peacefully, on Monday, October 31, 2005 at Versa Care in St. Catharines at the age of 92. Dear mother of Dorothy (Eric) Murphy. Loved grandmother of Jeff (Lori) Murphy, Steve (Nancy) Murphy, Darin (Pat) Lalonde all of Thorold, Debbie (Helmut) Laubenbacher of Hamilton, Marjorie (Les) Dennis, Wendy (Bill) Thorpe-Hill and Shannon Thorpe all of Cornwall. Great grandmother of Robert, Melissa, Josh, Megan, Katelyn and Ashley. Predeceased by her husband John (1966), infant daughters Helen (1938) and Marjorie (1945), son Bill (1989) and daughter Helen Lalonde (2003) Margaret was born in Glengarry, ON and lived in that area until moving to Thorold in 1990. The family will receive friends at the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, November 3rd. at 12:30 p.m. Interment at Kenyon Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Dunvegan, ON on Saturday, November 5th at 1:00 p.m. If so desired, donations to Versa Care Centre would be appreciated by the family. - 11/3/2005 - ID7343512
