Margaret Anne "Peggy" Jensen Peggy Jensen, wife of Kai Jensen of Scoudouc, passed away at Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Complete arrangements to be announced. Online condolences can be made via www.tuttlefuneralhome.ca January 03, 2008 Margaret Anne "Peggy" Jensen 1932 - 2008 SCOUDOUC, NB - Peggy Jensen, 75, of Scoudouc, passed away at Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, January 01, 2008. Born in Toronto in 1932, she was the daughter of the late Gordon A. and Margaret Alyce (Cunneyworth) Carmichael. She was a member of St. Martin's in the Woods Anglican Church, Shediac Cape. Peggy started her career as a data entry clerk in 1949 and continued until her retirement in 1986. During this time she worked for Massey Ferguson in Canada and later moved with her husband to the United States, where she was employed with Massey Ferguson USA, Brenco Banking Co; and Farm Bureau Insurance. In 1983 Peggy and Kai returned to the Moncton area, and she worked with Superannuation in Shediac and later with Blue Cross Atlantic in Moncton retiring in 1986. Peggy loved all animals, however it was DOGS that were number one with her. She enjoyed traveling the Maritimes, spending time with her many friends and colleagues at Dog Shows. Peggy and her husband Kai own Jensgaard Kennels breeders of German Shepherds and Japanese Spaniels. Peggy's, Japanese Spaniels from 1994 to 2002 were among the Top 5 Japanese Spaniels in Canada. She was a member of the CKC, a Director of the Japanese Spaniel Club of Canada and an active member of the Moncton Kennel Club, where she chaired numerous committees. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Kai Jensen; two daughters, Roxanne (Tom) Bubar of Fort Fairfield, Me, and Michelle Jensen of Scoudouc; four grandchildren, Aaron (Kelly), Sarah, Nicholas (Audrey) and Steven; three great grandchildren, Michael and Harper Paige and Kyle; she is also survived by several cousins and numerous friends in the dog world throughout Canada and the United States. Peggy will be best remembered for her kind and caring ways towards others and her canine friends, she will be truly missed. Besides her parents she was predeceased by son, Gordon Wayne, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. The Family will be receiving relatives and friends at St. Martins in the Woods Anglican Church, Shediac Cape, NB on Sunday, January 6, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The memorial service will be held at St. Martin's in the Woods Anglican Church on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 11:00 am with Venerable Archdeacon Richard McConnell officiating. Interment will be in St. Martin's in the Woods Anglican Church Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Peggy's memory made to St. Martin's in the Woods Building Fund or to our local SPCA would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
