Margaret Ann Sparrow Hansen crossed into heaven Feb. 26, 2005, at Adams Place Healthcare facility in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Ann was born June 21, 1937, in Kinston, N.C., and graduated from Grainger High School in 1955. She was crowned Miss Kinston in 1955. Along with being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Ann became a licensed practical nurse after graduating from Lenoir Community College in 1980. Ann's life work was the care, support and guidance of others which she enjoyed as a nurse in St. Augustine for many years.Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Sparrow and Anna Mewborn Franklin; stepfather, William L. Franklin; husband, Wesley Hansen, and granddaughter, Kelsey Marie Aldrich.Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Jim Burgard of Monclova, Ohio; son, Lance Bliss of Chicago, Ill.; daughter and son-in-law, Krista and Kent Stevenson of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Katie Aldrich, Kyrstyn Burgard and Hunter Stevenson.
