Washington - Margaret Ann Carter, 64, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2005.A native of Summerlee, West Virginia, she was born February, 20, 1941 to the late Lonnie Rorrer and Kathryn Showalter and Rufus Gabe. She was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Richard Churning. Mrs. Carter was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.She is survived by her husband, Austin Michael Carter; children, Kenneth Churning Jr. of Apple Valley, CA, Mark Churning of Washington, GA, Steffanie (Katie) Land and Samm Blumenshine, both of Lexington, Michael Carter of Grove, OK, Chuck Carter of Beckley, WV, Lonnie Carter of Wagner, SD, John Carter of Lexington, GA and Kassie Arroyo of Washington, GA; sister, Maryetta Singh of Washington State; brother, Howard Rorrer of Oshkosh, WI; 25 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.A memorial service will be at a later date.Lord & Stephens Funeral Home EAST is in charge of arrangements.
