Margaret "Snookie" Anderson, 60, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at her residence following a sudden illness. Born May 16, 1949, to the late Vernie and Mardell Bryant, she lived most of her life in Forsyth County. She formerly owned and operated Nanny's Café and was a member of the Rock of Christ Church. Mrs. Anderson was also preceded in death by her daughter, Valissa Welchel; and brother, J.C. Gilreath. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Nina Woods of Gainesville; grandson, Bailey Woods of Gainesville; brothers, Robert Bryant of Cumming, Lewis Bryant of Dawsonville; nephew, Stacy Bryant of Dawsonville; niece, Diane Howell of West Palm Beach, Fla. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends on November 21, beginning at noon.
