Margaret A. Petersonof Montrose, Pa.Margaret A. Peterson, 89, of Montrose, Pa., passed away on Monday, August 11, 2003 at the Endless Mountains Health Systems after a brief illness. She was born in Bridgewater twp., Pa., to the late William M. and Hazel A. (Myers) Bell. Her husband, John A. Peterson, predeceased her in 1953. Margaret was a dairy farmer for 31 years, and was a cook at Asa Park Manor for 15 years. Margaret attended Holy Name of Mary Church and South Montrose Community Church. She was a collector of Cardinals. Margaret is survived by two daughters, Ruth E. Vandermark, Montrose, Pa., Eleanor Kurosky, Montrose, Pa.; two grandchildren, Cheryl J. Kurosky, Apalachin, N.Y., Wayne Vandermark, Montrose, Pa.; two sisters, Mary B. Magee, Montrose, Pa., Eva B. Beppler, Montrose, Pa.; two companions, Bear and Midnight; and several nieces, and nephews.A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home with Father James R. Nash and Pastor Debbie Vandermark Dailey, of United Methodist Church of Hop Bottom, officiating. Interment is in the Montrose Cemetery. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Donations can be made in Margaret's memory to the Montrose Minutemen, PO Box 32, Montrose, Pa., or Endless Mountains Medical Care Foundation, 78 Grow Ave., Montrose, Pa.
