CARTER, Marcelle Theresa (nee Crough) - Died peacefully at her Scarborough home on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the age of 86. Predeceased by siblings Olive, Carmelita, Marie, Joseph and daughter Kimberly. Loving grandmother of Jason (Alexandria), Ryan, Cameron and great-grandson Carter, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Retired from the American Federation of Musicians and a long-term dedicated volunteer at Scarborough General and Rouge Valley Hospitals. Marcelle''s family and friends will remember her as a stylish lady with a wonderfully generous, warm and caring heart. She will be missed today and always by all who knew her. In the last few difficult months, the family wants to acknowledge the loving attention paid by neighbours Judy and Marion and especially to Ramonita for her exceptional and compassionate care and nephew Michael for his unwavering support. Visitation will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Road, Scarborough, on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 21 Markanna Drive, Scarborough, on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
