WILLIAMS, "Happy" Mamie Ruth, 81, of Wimauma, Fla., took hold of the angels' hands and peacefully and joyously entered through the glorious gates of heaven Wednesday, October 29, 2008. She was surrounded by many loving family members that tearfully and willingly let her go to be with her Lord and Savior and reunite with the only many she had ever loved, her dear husband of 61 years, Mack. She was a homebody who was happiest when all of her family was together and preferably around a table filled with food she had prepared. She wiped our tears, kissed our bruises and was never too tired to listen. She was a partner in every venture with our dad. She taught by example and there are no words to express such a lady. She is survived by a daughter, Alana Buhrkuhl; son, Jerry Williams, and wife, Anne; daughter, Venita Rowell, and husband, Rusty; grandchildren, Kevin Coats and wife, Mona, Lori Wilson, Heidi Solomon and husband, Paul, Shanna Carver and A.J. Rowell; great-grand-children, Logan, Loren and Will Coats, Summer Drury, and Zachary and Shayna Solomon; great-great-grandchildren, Kaydintz Rowell and Cullen Carver; and a sister and best friend, Opal Johnson. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2008, at Hopewell Funeral Home, with Brother Paul Dixon and Brother Harney Whitten officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation 3-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
