MONTREUIL, Mae - Peacefully with her family by her side in North Bay, Ontario at the age of 91. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond Montreuil. She will be sadly missed by her children: Eric (predeceased), Clarence of Mattawa, Garry (Paulette) of Hamilton, Edward (Georgette) of Quebec, Shirley (Rene) of North Bay, Louis (Barb) of Rutherglen, Danny of Mattawa, Virginia (John) of Powassan, Noella (Henry) of Sudbury, Polly (Michael) of Brampton, Harvey of Toronto and Sandy of North Bay. Loving daughter of the late Ashley Smith and the late Cora Cleveland. She will be sadly missed by 29 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs Montreuil is predeceased by her brothers: Rex, Roy, Ernest, Walter, Roxy, Cecil and Richard and by her sisters: Myrtle, Ada and Dora. Mrs Montreuil loved her flowers and watching birds. Family and friends may call at the MARTYN & SLOAN “Mattawa Chapel“ today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, August 22nd, 2008 from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral mass will follow at Ste Anne's Church at 11 a.m. Interment of ashes will be held at the Ste Anne's Cemetery at a later date.
