Smith, Mae E. ALBANY Mae E. "Aunt Stove" Smith, 82, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Greene Motley and Mary F. Goods. Mae was a licensed practical nurse for many years before retiring. She was a longtime member of Riverview Missionary Baptist Church in Coeymans. Mae was an avid bowler, receiving many awards. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and arts and crafts. Mae is the wife of John J. Smith. She is the mother of Michelle Gordon of Troy and Rosemarie Barthelmas of Menands. She is the sister of Bertha Hilton of Schenectady and the grandmother of Jackeya Smith of Albany, Manuel Gordon Jr. of Albany and Zaquawn Gordon of Troy. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
