CARTER, Mae, 79, of Ludowici, Ga., died Monday December 9, 2002, after an extended illness. The Lake County Fla. native and former resident of Seffner, Fla., had lived in Long Co., Ga. for the past two years. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Peacock of Ludowici, Ga., and Dorothy Peterson of Rapids, Wisconsin; three sons, Jameson O. Carter and Arnie D. Carter both of Seffner, Fla., and Jerry W. Carterof Seminole; three sisters, Mabel Moore of Myrtle Beach, Fla., Florence Glover of Rapids, Wisconsin, and Terry Gritzmacher of Birmingham, Alabama; and brother, Charles Garrett of Tampa, Fla. Visitation willbe held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday December 12, 2002, with services to follow at 11 a.m., both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
