MORRIS, Madeline Virginia 80, of Holiday, passed peacefully in Tarpon Springs, on Sept. 11. Born Madeline Hurst in Duhring, WV, Aug. 21, 1927, she married Robert Morris and co-owned Morris (Photographic) Studios in Colebrook, NH and Barre, VT. She moved to Holiday 28 years ago. Madeline, along with her sister, Donna Lee, enjoyed singing and dancing in community theater productions in Colebrook. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Cohen, Sylvania, OH; 3 sons, Robert, Burlington, VT, Rodney, Middlebury, VT, Brent Jay, Dillon, CO; 3 sisters, Donna Lee Johnson, Sybil Meade, Ruby Robbins; brothers, Carl Hurst, Bernard "BB" Hurst and David Hurst. Madeline also had 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 14, from 12-1 pm followed by a chapel service at 1 pm at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Rd., New Port Richey.
