Entered into rest at the Hilltop Manor Nursing Home, Merrickville, peacefully on Saturday June 2nd, 2001, the former Madeleine Gertrude Driscoll of Smiths Falls, age 89 years. Beloved wife of 65 years of the late Ken Fowlie. Dear mother of Mary A. Montain and her husband George of Ottawa, James and his wife Betty of Smiths Falls, Peter of Smiths Falls, Cathey McNamee and her husband Jerry of Brockville, Mary Elizabeth Twigg and her husband Peter of Belleville and predeceased by son Charles. Also survived by daughter-in-law Elizabeth Fowlie, 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday. Funeral Service will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Smiths Falls on Tuesday June 5, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Francis de Sales Parish Cemetery.
